Yeah, it's ugly. It is an expression of hate, loathing and general angst for all that is order. It is perhaps a culmination of the existential questions of:

"Where am I in the sea of all things?"
"Am I but a colored shape in the mosaic that is the universe?"

These and other BS questions will not be answered in this image. Seriously, I was simply doodling again and wanted to see where it took me. If you can't have fun at it, why do it, right?

All actions were accomplished in Photoshop, no plugins required.

I have rats, sir, not mice. Rather sweet little cutie-pies if I do say so myself, especially the baby. She likes to curl up and fall asleep on my shoulder.
