My Photoshop won't ever allow me to use the black & white adjustment, why? Help D:

It never let's me use it like it's broken or something, I don't know why and I need it right now

Are you sure you do not have some forgotten selection, focus in some other layer or in invisible layer, somewhere it cannot be changed ?

You don't offer much information, what do you mean by "never let's me use"? Is the option greyed out?

I am guessing on the lack of information your default image mode may have been swapped from RGB to Indexed colour But then that is a guess

Yeah, the option is greyed out.

Check the mode. It is not available for all modes, CMYK, or 32 bit for instance.
