Specific need a couple of restorations

Hi all I have been given these photos from a friend who has recently lost her mother .These are the only 2 photos she has of her in her younger days any improvement will be fantastic .

Here's some changes to the second photo. I darkened the BG slightly in order to emphasize the young lady more. It can be changed. Now to the other one...
