3D New Poser Thread

With a bit of postwork, this can really be very good:

If you run the torn edges filter and a tiny bit of wave and motion blur on the alpha of the gorilla, the outline would be more natural. Now the fur isn't really "furry".

Alrighty, my little Poser contribution. Not finished, but about as far as I'm going to go.

Ripped a Poser head. Remapped it because I can't stand Poser uv mapping. Then did some quick-n-sleazy painting.

Shown are the colour and bump. Simple and didn't take much time at all. The hardest part was the wrinkles in the bump. Now don't tell me that you don't have what it takes to paint something that quick and sloppy. Probably should load the wrinkle bumps and use that to darken the colour map a tad.

There are a few other maps in there, but they are just plain ol' procedure with nothing fancy - no painting involved except for the eyebrow and lip mask.

The lighting smooths out underneath the left eye, but it is bumpy. Also, I can't seem to figure out why the corner of the right eye is so bright. Maybe next time.

I didn't spend a lot of time on the Background here. I wanted to show you this great model from JHogland - in the rederosity free section

The Princess and the Dragon

I had to scale this down to fit the board so I hope you can see it OK

Thanks Nikkie - you are coming along very nicely with Poser as well :righton:

Stay tuned I think there may be more of The Princess and the Dragon before long. }P :B
