I have an image which i want to turn into a jigsaw style picture. With the same shape repeated and cut into the photo. Is this possible to do in photoshop or illustrator any way?

Much apprciated!

sPECTre...I knew I had seen that puzzle within PS at some point, but could not for the life of me figure out where...
Now that you showed us where... I'm glad I didn't keep looking... [stuned]

Lasa, you have CS2 right? Just go to the shape tool, click the arrow on the top right and select 'all' there should be 4 puzzle shapes in there.

Patrick actually I have CS..but regardless they are there in CS...but I'm not sure it I'd want to peice them together over the whole picture..talk about a heart ache assuming the even fit...aaahhhggg

a quicky tute. very easy. You can also get the puzzle psd from the textures folder in presets. That has the puzzle as black line on white. You can make a brush from that. The reason I suggest a brush used as an eraser is because you can bevel it, giving the pieces a 3d effect of sorts.
