obligitory i-pod


I don't know, they're just fun to make. Wish I had one... :cry:
2 things, well accually 3....First some of the textures and lines look pixelated...maybe because of low jpeg quality? Also the relfection of the text is wrong. It should be propotional to the text above. And, last the pixelly lines (stepping) around the text looks odd... Did you mean to do that? Besides that I think the iPod looks great!
BTW, did you ever see my iPods?
 
Patrick. where they at? I'd like to see them. I just won one (I-pod Shuffle) in a contest on another forum. Just found out 15 min ago. The reason I did this one is that I saw one on yet another forum that was done with C4D and wasn't too impressed so I did it in PS to prove a point. The pixel thing may be that it's at 72 ppi and may have picked up some artifacting. The stepping in the text is due to the way I created it ( ctrl>alt>arrow, about 50 layers worth) Rather than add an effect, I left it alone 'cause I kind of liked it as is.
 
OK. I see 'em. I like 'em, now I REALLY go to work on one.

Rom, I like the perspective that you have going, but some of the dimensions seem a little odd. and the text seems a bit rough. Might be the wine! [shhh]
