Open multiple files as layers?

YES! I knew there had to be a simple way. Thank you!

From within Photoshop, select File->Scripts->Load Files into Stack, then select the files you want layered into stacks.

It's now Sept 2010 - and thanks to Google, the internet, and you I found a simple answer that was nowhere to be found in the adobe documentation.
