Yeah, I think the first is the best too...
The bevel does not look all that pro tho, you should try going for a Red Dead Redemption theme- That's what this image reminds me of lol

The outline around the text would look good in your image if you want to go for my suggestion
You did great on the background btw

You're right, DoTTGaMMa, the bevel - indeed the text itself - was not my best work. Trouble is I had a deadline and after spending a week on the background I needed to stop fiddling with it and get it out the door!
That has been one of the steepest learning curves doing this series. I'm only given a title for the event and have to come up with some sort of creative theme and execute it within a very short period of time. So far I have done ten of them - some simple and some more complex - and probably 7 times out of the ten I have the organizers calling me on the phone and telling me they need the graphic NOW. Sometimes the fine details have to be sacrificed because of time.

Good job on the final image. Considering you have a limited time to get it done, you actually did great. Just imagine what you can accomplish if given more time.
