hmmmmmm good question! Probably as long as no bugs are running around in Windows..... ;)

Nope not misguided at all ............"I miss my Mac (couldn't afford to replace my old one yet)" I wouldn't miss a Windows machine for a second.

lol I have never used a windows based PC since computers were invented,I have only had Macs

a mac is a PC :p whatever brand it is, whatever operating system it runs it's still a Personal Computer. the big question is, can it match loading times on my G-1 killer machine running Ubuntu? in which it takes barely any time at all. hmmm that be the question.

sorry can someone please tell me the craze in mac operating systems? i don't see why paying over £1000 for a low spec machine i can pick up for £160 down the road can possibly be good?

Because macs are stylish and they do perform a lot better for things like editing video and photo. There is a reason why they have been the number 1 choice for the industry for over 20 years. But now with pc customisation being so easily available and high spec machines are coming more into play I dont think performance will be a big issue between them anymore high powered mac vs high powered pc I would choose the mac if budget was never an issue.

I am glad CS5 worked. Though I am more worried about older applications, as lion doesn't come with Rosetta.
