Hey everyone, I am working on a photo as a present for my mother. Basically the back story is that there are very few good photos of her mother and father together because her father passed away while she was young. The only photos she has of them together are relatively small and are not portrait style.
So basically I took two photos from an old year book and I am trying to splice them together to make it look like a portrait of them sitting together. My goal is to print it up in 3x5 or 5x7 and give it to her framed. I have it almost done using a combination of MS paint and my iphone, but I think it would look a lot better with some kind of gradient background. This is beyond my ability with the programs I have.
I don't know much about photoshop, but I'm guessing this would take less than 10 minutes. I was wondering if anyone could help me out as a favor.
The attachments below are a very small version of what I was working from, but I can email you the larger file (2.1 MB) if you don't mind.
