Hello there,

Im new to this forum so not really sure if its the right way to tackle my problem but:

I have a 3 - 4 pictures where:
1) Got taken with a disposable camera (therefore the quality is really bad) and would like to have it improved so a quality where I can print it out on a4
2) Got taken from a screen so again the quality needs to be improved
3+4) I want to have the effect where you select a colour and it grey everything else out

But I have never used photoshop in my life and was wonderig wether anyone could either do it for me (Happy to pay a small fee for it) or tell me where I could get this done?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks E.

for one and two, there is little we can do.
ofcourse there are some touch ups possible,
but not enough to make it look great on a4

you can include the images on this posts so members can try to fix them

Without seeing this or these images it's impossible to give ideas

I have attached 3 images:
The group shot is the one where the quality would need to be improved
The dog photo is the same, it needs to be cropped and quality improved
And the sunglasses one needs to black and white with the boys necklace kept in while and black.

Any help is kindly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey photoefiting, your Name is too big we can't click on the read next post for thread how about getting rid of the spam name and being more forum savvy

Although I can do it by hand, it is so much easier and quicker using the de-noise filter from topaz. The trick is though, is to get rid of the noise before any resizing, as it wont recognise what is noise.

If you don't own Topaz de-noise, the NR in the CS6 version of ACR is getting quite good. Attached is the original (for direct comparison) and a version tweaked using only ACR (CS6).

... and, if you run it through ACR again + a bit of play in PS with selective applications of levels and cc, you can come out with something like this.
