You nailed it, Paul. That's why I'm the deer side of the fence. I'd much rather deal with the buck than those two does in full color plumage and defensive pocketbooks. LOL.

OK, Paul, I give up. What is it: A mud hole at a hot spring area? Concrete?

For fun, here's a few old "unusual viewpoint" shots I pulled from my archive.

The truth be told, I usually only take shots like these when I'm bored and can't "escape", eg, when I'm stuck on a train (#2) or stuck in a hotel room, have a meeting the next day, can't get to sleep (#4) and am staring at the ceiling, etc.

I kinda regard this genre as "cheap shot" photography because such pix often impress people who don't do much photography and never think of shooting from unusual angles, but they are usually incredibly easy to shoot compared to an event or a portrait. It's like the old American (?) expression, these are like "shooting ducks in a pond".
