I am new to photoshop and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good book or tutorial to learn how to use it. Thanks in advance.
 
My intro to PS was in school. I don't like books for learning this program. They're good for reference (if you don't have PSG!), but some of the more technical stuff can be hard to follow if you don't already know something about the topic. There are many tutorials on the web, but my favorite collection is on the lynda.com site. There are hundreds of tutorials, like Essential Training, 11 hours; One on One Fundamentals, 17 hours, One on One Advanced, 26 hours. It is not free but the cost is pretty minimal and the instructors are top notch. Good luck to you and happy 'shoppin.
