Photoshop CS5 - default file format

Hi there,

I have a nagging problem with my PS CS5 64-bit on Windows 7:

After inserting any screenshot into Photoshop (and therefore having a multi-layered image),
whenever I try to "save as" JPEG, the default file format is .psd - is there any way to change that?

I registered in this forum to find an answer to this problem, as I couldn't find any suitable answer in the web at all.

Many thanks - Cunningham

Photoshop always uses .PSD as it's default file format. You can just select JPEG from the list or use SAVE FOR WEB AND DEVICES. Or you can write an action to save files as JPEGs if you prefer.
