hello people,

i have a request.

Is anyone willing and able to make the wheels on my car black ?
Matt and shiny if possible
and if it's not asked for to much i would like the straight pieces in the top to be polished looking

so in fact 3 requests

Thank you in advance !!!

thanks for the effort !
kinda hard to see tough with the white green blue-ish shine :/
thinking to get them powdercoated that's why i'd like to see it first

oh i'm sorry
my english sentences are probably not always as they should be.. i'm from belgium..

i ment
matt
shiny
and then as last option matt with polished straight pieces

yea that's matt
just wondering is it really black or dark brown grey ?
just to know cause it's such a diffrent colour then the tires

guess it's not easy to shop it like it will be in real life

it is more on the grey side looking at images of black wheels I found they tend to be more gun metal grey rather than black in matt colours.

here is an example if you take them much darker than this then you will loose all the wheel detaildodgeraml.png

no problem for moving it
didn't know exactly where to put it

and yea i understand why not to make em all black
just i had the id from a picture and therefor i wanted to see it on mine ;)

this was the one i had the id from
beautifull dodge :p

Here is my try at it. I've included some screen captures of what I did. All of it was done using reversed curves.

First I dropped the curves way down, reversed it, and painted the outside of the wheels.

1.jpg

I used curves again, lessening to a less extent, reversed it, and painted the tops of the tires

2.jpg

I increased the curves and worked on the wheel cover thingies.

3.jpg

I used "ying yang" which is again curves that I could used at quick opacities to paint in light and dark to the rest of the scene

And here is my attempt in it's final version.

Here is the orginanal again, just for a referrence point:
