Specific Please edit this Trophy!

Hi all, I am compiling a book about my local football club, and have a picture of a trophy won that I would like to include.

I would like it to have a transparent background. I am absolutely clueless on the process of doing anuthng like this I'm afraid!

This was a bit tricky...did my best to bring out the detail. On transparent background...

I eliminated the green and blue highlights created by everything around it.
