PS and the new Intel Macs

My wife just let me know she wants to get me one of the new Macs with the Intel chips for my birthday. However, she and I are concerned that Photoshop may not run that well on it since Adobe has not released Mac Intel native software for PS.


Is anyone here running their photoshop on a new Mac? How is it running?

It runs just fine I had a G4 DP before and I'd say it runs a bit faster than it did on it. From what I understand from reading the forums there is expected to be a big speed boost when PS comes out with the intel version.? ? Go for it?
