depending how much time you want to spend on it open image duplicate it use magic wand or other selection tool to select background and shadows and blow it out with exposure then apply a layer mask and paint back in from the other image pieces that have been overexposed

here is a quick example that took less than 2 mins ps I also duplcated the end flattened image went to filter > other > high pass set pixe to 2 and applied it then set the grey layer blending mode to overlay just to sharpen it up a bit
