Replacing Colors on a Template

Hello, I am a photo shop newbie and in need of some help. I have a template I am using where I would like to change/replace the colors used with colors to match my logo. I would like to change the brown color used to a teal color RGB: 91, 141, 148 and the lime green to a brownish/grey RGB 133, 121, 97. I have tried using the color placement tool and selecting the color I want but it always changes it to a different color. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the file.

Hi there

Make sure the layer selected has the colour you wish to replace before changing it (if not - the colour replacement tool will pick up on the colour but won't change it)

I duplicated the layers of the colours you wanted changing and went into the target colour area and typed in the RGB values that you gave.

I've attached the .PSD folder and named the duplicated layers for you so you can see.

Hope it helps.

It's so odd, it's doing the same thing to you that it did to me when I open the files the color don't match the RGB values that I can you instead the teal is 102, 123, 125 and the brown is 159,133,79 ? They should be 91, 141, 148 for the teal and 133, 121, 97 for the brownish color. I am not sure why this is happening, any ideas? I can't thank you enough for the help!!!!

OK that is odd - Tried this instead:

Used colour range to select the patterns I needed, created a new layer on top and painted over in the correct RGB values.

Wasn't sure if you wanted the brown bars on the top and bottom painted in the new brown colour, I painted over them on a new layer (can turn off if needed)

It's all re-named for you, so you can see the changes. Hopefully this works for you.
