Which effect are you on about?
The colour should be easy enough,,,,,,
There is a texture that has been put over everything, not just the text,,,,,,,,
I'm going to have to download the font for any other reason (which I can't be bothered finding after doing a search for Tee Kayy).

well the Text has been done in Illustrator....n Tee Kayy is not a font.it's the TEXT i need Replacing the Text RETRO in the Image

If you upload your illustrator file then maybe you will get the help easier no one wants to sit there drawing that out in illustrator.

Yeah your right...Illustrator can be hectic sometimes...and i misplaced the Illustrator file...forget about it guys...can't hassle myself into it again...and i don't want you guys to get hassled too..Thankss Anyway

If it was a font (which I am sure I have seen) it wouldnt be a problem a 10 min job. But as your letters are different from the tutorial it may take even a couple of hours to get it right. If you find a similar font then by all means come back and give us a link.

Ok I am not going to lie to you I forgot to stroke the text layer before I started editing it so still a bit thin but honestly that font is to wide spread and to thin strokes to do anything with even the bold vesions were not the same they were filled in so no good.
It is not great it is to thin I know but unless you have a better font it is all about I can do without spending loads of time on it. retro.png

oh and to get rid of the gaps I have left them there as a guide for you just paint over them in the middle layer and touch up the top layer.
