Resizing pasted images on a Layer

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to Photoshop. I'm trying to resize a image which I've pasted into a layer, I know how to Transform and rescale the image but I'd like to enter the width of the image in Pixels somewhere, does anyone know if this can we done?

Or furthermore, if I tell you what I'm trying to do you, someone may know a way to make my life a lot easier...

I'm designing an advert for a billboard, I've created an A4 landscape canvas and I'd like to put 5 images at the bottom of the canvas but I'd like to set them all to the same size which fits across the whole width of the canvas.

Please bear in mind I'm new to Photoshop so the path to an option would be much appreciated as I don't know my way around PS yet.

Thanks for your time!
Much appreciated

Regards
James

just open up the image on its own then go to image > size and resize it then import it into your other document

Thanks for the advice guys.

Is there some sort of guides I could set to show the page split into 5 sections equally?

if you right hand click the crop tool and select the 2nd option should be called slice tool then right click your image you will see an option called divide image select that and select your values
