Resizing TIFF to JPG

Hi all,

Here's the situation.. I have files that are saved as TIFFS (from the original RAW files) at 2048 x 2048 @72dpi. The files are each around 25MB. Is it possible, and if so how, to resize/resave them at 2048 x 2048 @300dpi as JPGS? or at least @144dpi? Since the jpg files would be smaller ultimately, I figured it might be possible since I'm starting with 25MB files. Thank you in advance for any advice!

Open the TIFF file in PS.
File > Export > Export As...
Select Format: JPG
Select Export All...

Now, open this new JPG file in PS
Go to Image > Image Size...
Change Resolution to required amount.
Save.

2048 x 2048 images will always be the same, no matter what you set the DPI to. The print size will change though.

What are you trying to do with those images ?
