Resolution

What resolution do most of you use for your default when starting a new image in photoshop. I've done tons of stuff using the default 72, and they look good, just wondering what is best.

72 is fine for screen presentations. 300-360 is best for printing documents. A lot to know about "Image" "image size" re-sampling, constraining aspects etc. Seek out online tuts they will explain it much better than I can. Wait I found one for ya...

Since I'm a photographer I open my image in ACR set to 300 as Guardian mentioned for print.

It depends on your use. For web isn't important the resolution, It most important the weight of file.
