While you're at it, I have one further suggestion. I think everything on the back wall (framed pictures, electrical cord, etc.) is a distraction that just clutters up the image, particularly in your new image where you added some text that overlaps some of this background stuff. I would paint-out everything on the back wall, and then add your text on top of that.
