Rotating my drawings in photoshop

Dear Forum members.

May I ask for help please as a newbie to the forum world.

I have an i mac 5.2 running CS5. I ask , I often draw in photoshop, eg buildings and the like, when i have finished drawing individual buildings I place them into imaginary dreamscapes, i tend to flatten the individual building drawings or merge their layers into one before placing it into the dreamscape, the problem I have is although I can alter perspective scale warp and distort via the apple t command I cannot seem to find a way of rotating the building around its own centre axis, eg if you had a small box and you put a cocktail stick through its centre so you could spin it on its axis, its difficult to explain in words but hopefully you will know what i mean.. My Mac so I am told has no video card if that helps with the diagnosis .. Do I need alternative software, a new mac, a video card, or is the above impossible.

Many thanks Noods

sounds like you need to upgrade and get a 3D program, if you want to actually rotate the building

photoshop isnt a 3D app its 2D (unless you have PS elements).
you need a 3d app for your building to be viewed as a 3d object

The warp tool and perspective tool will give you a quarter turn but it will be tough to not distort the buildings.

I commend your bravery for flattening your buildings. I would copy merge the layers and put these original parts into a folder. I just never like to destroy originals of anything until I am absolutely sure my image is completed or that I won't want to use it again. Same thing when I spend time using a pen tool to create a selection, depending on the image, I nearly always save a png. Guess I'm a bit obsessive
