Shape text into a bowtie

I have tried to no avail but how on earth do i shape a word into this shape. with the straight line on the top and pointed on the bottom. trying to convert this to vector. pretty easy i thought. Thanks in advance

Make text layer, convert it to Shape. Grab Path Selection tool, select "NOR" letters shapes, Transform->Distort. Then select "-ONT" shapes and Transform->Distort.

Excellent idea SCTRWD! Works perfectly! One of the easiest ways I've seen to do this yet!

Thanks guys...sorry for the delay. They put the project on a the back burner for awhile. Anyhow i will try, sounds pretty easy..now!
