This Is Probably A Stupid Question

Well I'm fairly new to Photoshop 7.0. I have a quick question. When using brushes, is their a way to change brush colors, right now, its like a light gray and i can barley see it. Like a said probably stupid question. But thanx 4 your time. Have a great week.
 
your brush color will be whatever the foreground color is. At the bottom of the tool bar you'll see 2 squares of color. the top is the foreground which is overlapping the bottom square, which is the background. Click on the square and your color pallette will appear. choose the color you want. You might want to brush on a separate layer until you think you've got the hang of it. You can merge layers anytime. Good luck, have fun-RM
 
I would like to thank Welles and Ronmatt for such a quick response. You usually dont find that on boards. Once again thanx alot, I will be returning alot.
