It looks like you want a longer gradient, probably going a little darker on top and lighter on the bottom. Probably best to recreate the gradient using the gradient tool.

First, with your image open, click on the foreground colour at the bottom of the tool pallet, then click on the lightest blue area.

Next, click on the background colour and select the darkest blue.

You should now have light blue and dark blue as your foreground and background colours. You can adjust those to slightly expand the range by clicking on them.

Now go to the gradient tool (shortcut "g" on the keyboard). Notice the colours you selected will automatically load. The default gradient type should be linear which is what you want in this case.

If your light blue is the foreground colour, click on the bottom of your image and drag to the top (holding the shift key will constrain it)

Here's what I came up with:

All the best.

Not knowing how dark or light you want it...

Just simply create a layer from the image, Select and delete the dark areas , CTRL+T , and stretch the gradient to fit the canvass.....

lol.... lazy way of doing it but sometimes the most obvious to do. If this is what you need.

Hello sorry for the late reply, the black tecture would you be able to change its color to #007cc2 if possible? whilst keeping the texture effect?
