Using lifted photos to practice with?

Before I jump in and start working with PS I have a question. What is the general consensus of using images from the internet to work with? Is there a certain etiquette to follow if using a generic photo from another site? What about a "stock" photo that doesn't list the actual photographers info?
I'm not talking about taking an image, editing it, and then trying to sell it. I'm just asking about images to use for practice and then maybe posting on a site like PSG to have others critique the work done.
Thanks guys!

We all do that from time to time, AS LONG AS YOU DONT TAKE CREDIT FOR ORIGINAL WORK OR TRY TO RECLAIM AS YOURS TO MAKE MONEY, PUT A THANKS AND A LINK BACK IF YOU WISH.
