Hi all!
Long time i've been here. Lots of stuff changes since last time 8}

Anyways, I have a problem with transparent gifs and black/dark backgrounds. They keep showing a white shade. I'm not sure how I can remove this.

I'll try to explain.

The smilies on my forums are fine when i have a light background but as soon as I use dark backgrounds the white shades appear.
Example:

As you can see on this page it's fine, but on my forums it looks weird.

Anyway to create images in PS to avoid this in the future. I know I have the same issue when I import pictures into flash animations as well.

Any advices?

Yes, by keeping the PSD files. The white is what we call matte in Photoshop, something you can select when you save the GIF file with Save For Web.
However removing the matte without having the original photoshop file will be very time consuming in most cases. :cry:
