Specific Walking to the fog/abyss

Could someone photoshop the image below (image was too big to upload directly at 6MB 6,000 x 4,000) as if I'm headed/looking out of the archway into deep fog or "abyss" like? Only the background outside beyond the archway needs to be changed. I think with the divine nature of the building, it would set a great scene.
