I prefer with the vignette. I like the quiet solitude of the image, which to me is enhanced when the outer room seems darker than the inner room. It makes the woman seem more isolated when her room is lit and the rest of the building feels more empty and dark. I guess the decision rests with what mood or emotion you're trying to evoke.
 
My preference is with the vignette for more attention directed to your the subject, less noise and a colour cast adjustment.

Thanks! I was afraid the effect was too obvious. I ca see where it bleeds into the background but if it's not obvious to others I'll print with the vignette.
