I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of filter was used in this, if any.
It looks familiar but I can't seem to replicate it.

Thanks for any help (:

Any idea what exact filter was used?

It sounds funny, but I am trying to see if this "artist" is a fraud by trying to replicate her style. She has a bunch of "digital paintings" but they look like filtered images to me.. copyrighted filtered images at that, with paint splatter brushes on top of it.

I could be wrong though, and I am entertaining that possibility, but I want to try to figure it out.

Another example.

i would say these are genuine, and you can still be a filter artist, the only frauds are those who claim someone elses artwork is their own.
probably a few textures were used and the liquify tool was too but thats what composes it really

it's a bit harsh to make prejudgemental accusations about something that person probably never did.

even if you replicated it using a filter doesnt mean thats how she did it.
just means she did something that can also be done using filter

looks like an Alien Skin snap art effect but you could probably recreate it using a selection of photoshop filters under the artistic section, Cutout, Pallet knife etc.
