Windows 7 PC vs. Apple OS for Professional CS5 and CS6

I am buying a new PC and wonder if an Apple offers more in PS? I am talking about functions. I know there is a PC vs Apple war, but I need to know if professionals use PCs vs. Apple? I have alot of software for Windows, plus I can build my computer. But does PS CS5 and CS6 have more functions on a PC or Apple?
 
function wise they are the same especially if you are talking about a high end pc back in the day macs were better as they were quicker machines but now a days it is just down to personal preference and Budget. A decent spec PC against the equivalent spec MAc is a big price difference. But if money is no object macs are nicer looking machines but the screens lack the sharpness you would expect and are quite slow refresh rates.

I personally choose pcs now as they are easy to customise and maintain.
 
I use a PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, a quad core with 12 GB ram which I built myself. It was almost 1/2 the price of an equivilent Mac and every bit as good IMO. Windows 7 is extremely stable. If you go the PC route go 64 bit so you can utilize more ram.
