Wolverine & Silver Samurai Posters

Thanks for the feedback bro. Im afraid not man its a an imagr from the film that I cut and edited with various filters pretty good the effects you can make within ps but one of my main goals is to learn digital painting and illustration although it can be pretty difficult ! anything can be created :).

They're okay. Very simple, though, as I look at them and break them down into what I see was done. Simple works, but there's a few things you could do to REALLY make these pop.

In the first one, Lose the stroke on the text. It really takes away from the simplicity of the poster. Keep it simple & clean. No need to try to push it over the top. Also, I feel it's a bit dark, Try brightening it up a bit, but drop the contrast so it's not overwhelming. As well, I would add a gradient fill (White center, black outline), make sure you use the radial gradient so it give you the circle. This will brighten the center so that the focal is more on Wolverine and directs the viewers attention towards the center as opposed to having wondering eyes.

Second one is better, to me. I feel the text is too close to the edge. Not a fan of text that touches the edges of the canvas. The splatters behind the sword don't need to go all the way down the sword as it becomes a bit distracting. The splatters behind the samurai are working in more of a "stroke" way than a design way, if ya know what I mean. They're really thick. The Samurai guy will still stand out on the background without the splatters being all behind him. Also feel there is too much splatter/watercolor brushes behind the text, it's too thick. Maybe add a mask to it and mask out some of the players since it has more of an accent feel as opposed to being used as more of a background behind the text. :) GOOD LUCK! KEEP IT UP!
