    started out as a simple skin touch up

    Amazing work, but the lips, chin and nose shapes are pretty far off from the original. The eyelashes bother me a little too. But this is great overall. The hair is really nice!

    Wow that's rough they did that, I'd buy one online personally. You can find the best prices there usually. I just have a $100 Wacom Bamboo tablet it gets the job done for all that I do.

    Editing a grayish day photo

    You could always cut the sky out and adjust it on another layer. The building looks pretty well defined on its edges so that shouldn't be a problem if you wanted

    How can I make this shape effect

    Try using an inner drop shadow and select the carved out shapes pixels and on a new layer above it mess around using a large, soft-brush with white on one layer for highlights and black for shadows, then adjust the opacity and/or style of the layer
