    My Seasonal Self Portrait

That is great, I would love to be able to do that!

    Copyright theft

Just thought I would throw this out there, please feel free to move if it's in the wrong section. Whilst searching for new techniques to deal with water stains on the photos I restore I came across a watermark removal service being offered on eBay. Item 290861446551 or just search watermark...

    Help achieving VHS Glitch effect

Just had a look for your tutorial but the link wasn't there? Maybe it's just me.

    Argh!

It's hard when you have a tech crash like this but is also a good opportunity. Sleeping baby shots taken in a darkened room by candle light with kitchen foil reflectors, so beautiful. Yeah it's nice to have all the right gear and the time to use it, but some of the most iconic images were...

    Angela before and after

I like this, good result. If it's for your portfolio you may want to cast an eye (and a brush) over the ghost of the crease through the middle of the dress

    First day of school

Out of focus pics are just about the hardest to restore, I hate them. Some great work there sharpening detail. Good colours, you have revived them but still kept them true to period. There is repair ghosting on the upper right doorframe. Some discolouration around joins in cladding (may just...

    Has this photo been doctored?

I have to ask if this is a wind up? You give your location as London and he (allegedly) posted it from London? Maybe you should man up, walk down the road and go get your money back?

3D First attempt and probably last

Have not tried any 3d in PhotoShop yet. Love the colours, only issue for me is that the highlights are blown out. Did you do any more yet?

How to do this in photoshop?

Nice work Tom, a combination of the Cutout effects with your technique gives some mad results! The hardest thing seems to be keeping it simple, it's so easy to get carried away with this. I am now playing around with making a couple of different versions from the start image and then...

    Restoration of girl

Thanks Tom, that's the sort of result I was looking for with the girl. I will have to try the techniques you suggest, I like to review my previous work every 6 months or so.

How to do this in photoshop?

In CS6 - Filter> Artistic> Cutout... Then play with the sliders to get the look you want. It's easy to use the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to change any colours to suit. Works best on images which have lots of light variation.

Try a bristle brush for quick, realistic cloning of hair

Am sitting here banging my head now, I can't believe I never thought of this! Thank you, great tip.
