    Restaurant Logo

    The second one looks much better but I think the shape of the chef's hat could be altered to look a bit more stylish and not so symmetrical and tall. The name "Viande" has a French/Italian feel to it and those cultures are known for style and flair so I feel like the hat should reflect this.

    LAN Party Advertisement

    I agree with Boomawoom. The logo with the blood splatter behind it doesn't blend as well with the rest of the image and the red splatter has a bit of a clipart feel. Maybe making the logo look like it's coming out of the clouds would look better?

    removing backgrounds and making them transparent?

    Why not just use a mask? Pen tool to trace the logo and then Layer>Vector Mask>Current Path.

    set 64 bit version to default
