I would like help recreating this background.

Hello everyone, once again.

I am posting again to ask your advice and to ask for your help recreating an effect.

The effect is to recreate the white, bright sheen and/or gradient contained in these pics. I already know how to crop out characters, but I need help recreating the colored background.

Here's two images along with red lines around what I want to recreate.






If you need more clarity, ask me and I'll try to explain it again. But I thank you in advance for your help.

Create a layer beneath your images, then:

Click and hold on the paint bucket and select the Gradient Tool>top left corner you should see a Gradient colour. Click on the Gradient which will bring up the Gradient Editor. Create your colour gradient by clicking on the arrows in the Gradient you have selected and choose your colours. You can save the new Gradient if you want, type a name in the 'Name' box then click save.

Once you have your chosen gradient, select the blank layer below your images. Click on the bottom of the canvas, then drag your mouse (While still holding the mouse button) to the top of the screen and then release the mouse button. If the colours are the wrong way up, just reverse your direction, click and hold at the top of the canvas then release when you are at the bottom.

As a side note, you will notice at the top left there will be a row of buttons, hover over them and you will get a tip of what they do, Radial will give you a round gradient, Start in the middle of your canvas and drag to the outside, linear is a straight gradient as illustrated in your examples.

Good Point Inkz, never thought to point that out. OP, add the hex codes Inkz has replied with when you go to the Gradient Editor
