    Bowie Blender & Photoshop

Some other Blender & Photoshop co-ops. Still quite haphazard with both.

Excellent. Thanks for the introduction, ronmatt.

    Using textures

Sorry for the late response - wasn't around for a while. Yeah, what Sark said. For the colour variety on the leaves, open the brush palette, choose "Colour dynamics" and set the "Background/Foreground Jitter" to a fair percentage. I used a darkish green as background and a dark red for...

    Using textures

Groovy, TaoBoogie! Here just something similar to the previous posts. It's basically a three stepper: 1. First layer of uniform colour with the brick texture applied (as per above) 2. Second layer of rainbow colouring using the gradient fill, set to relevant blending style 3. Third layer with...

    Photo Editing

Quite vibrant and I see you gave her a facelift too (no bags under the eyes anymore)! There's a bit of rusty red in the eyes - that doesn't look natural - unless she's a demon. Search a bit in the forum for some colouring work by lasa - the examples done by lasa were quite excellent...

where to post image ready questions?

Namvet, had a look as well with the same results as TaoBoogie - but I'm using CS. You say on another machine it does the same? That's quite strange - maybe a faulty installtion package. I had a look through a few forums - and I found someone who had the same problem - the theory was that he...

where to post image ready questions?

Is it the whole "Export" option that's greyed out, or an option under it? If so, which one? I think it's fine if you just post here anyway.

    printing co. logo

C is good in batch number 4. The white block makes one think of a sheet of paper - so that brings with it the connection there. What's more it's striking yet practical (not too many colours, easy to scale). You should vectorize it - then you'll be able to scale it with impunity.

where to post image ready questions?

namvet, I think you can probably post that in the general section or the "photoshop for the web" area - depending on what you are intending to use it for.

    The Omniscient Eye

It's not you buddy, the board has been a bit slow. As for your eye, it's nicely done - looks like a glassy kind of sculpture thingy. I would suggest adding some more highlights though. Refer to the tutorial under the photoshopgurus.com tutorial section. It's the one with the glass amber orb. It...

    printing co. logo

Like the others, I liked A in the first batch, and F in the second. I don't think that you should be too concerned with getting it to be instantly recognizable as an L & F - otherwise you could just type it out plainly. The point is to have something striking, and something people can...

    Bowie Blender & Photoshop

Hi Patrick - it's open source - thus freeware. URL to software: www.blender3d.org -- just go to the downloads section - also check out the galleries for some examples of what this program can really do (in skilled hands). URL to forum: www.elysiun.com URLs to manual & some tuts...

    Bowie Blender & Photoshop

Hey folks, just a bit of playing around. Since I can't even draw a good stick man, I have to use 3D applications to simulate "drawing" something. Here a little Bowie knife I made using the Opensource Blender 3D, then adding some final touches in photoshop. Very simple The background is layer...
