AI......A Tool. What do you think?
Exactly what AI does based upon algorithms that's imposed on it. Oftentimes it will come up with its own conclusions which is not tools do. AI is an extension of the human creative process especially when it comes to working with images. Despite a prompt, it will often come to its own...- JeffK

AI is not a tool…it’s a process. It provides convenience and speed at a cheap price with less labor employed. It lacks imagination, insight, and creativity at a human scale. It will never provide craft. Only the data’s interpretation of it.- JeffK

To answer your question, you can use any selection tool that works. I used the pen tool but you can also use the elliptical marquee tool for instance.
