trying to realistically add spider web threads to actual image

Thanks, all, for the very interesting options. I've tried a few stock photo options and achieve fair results, but I also ordered some of the web material for experimentation. I actually do have plenty of webs on an enclosed porch I never use, but trying to get a black screen behind them...

Really? Any links appreciated as to how this would be accomplished. Interested in the process. Thanks in advance!

trying to realistically add spider web threads to actual image

I'll try and post the image later, but it basically looks like IamSam's. Yes, I like the screen overlay method but I always hesitate doing this because I never know what might be copyrighted and not. Can you suggest a site where such images can be found truly free for any use?

trying to realistically add spider web threads to actual image

Hi. I recently encountered a black widow spider in my backyard and she has been graciously posing while I take images with my various cameras (DSLR and p&s). However, on some of my best imagery, while her body, legs and hourglass come out well, her web is invisible making it look like she's...

green screen or similar method to add water drops to foliage?

Ok, so not sure about link posting here, but if you Google "How to Create Custom Water Drop Brushes in Adobe Photoshop" you find out the method and steps I just tried. The works ok if the drops are placed on a similar colored greyish-white background, but no good for leaves with all the color...

green screen or similar method to add water drops to foliage?

Hi. I'm starting to take fall foliage images, but I would like to add water drops to some of the leaf close ups. I know there's ways to do this from scratch in Photoshop, but I don't really like the looks of what I've seen (plus it seems like a lot of extra work to get them to look right!)...

How can I properly manipulate a butterfly to look like another?

JeffK, thanks for the info! Although I came across that first video initially, I didn't think it would help much and skipped it, then when I saw you sharing it, I thought I'd take a look. Good thing I watched it. Up until this point, I have used puppet warp very little, so wasn't aware of all...

How can I properly manipulate a butterfly to look like another?

This sounds fairly simple, but I am having a hard time doing it: I am trying to use Photoshop 2018 to manipulate the butterfly in the top image to look just like the bottom image does. First I tried warp, but too generalized, then puppet warp (but that seems too sensitive and warps the result...

    Green screen lighting

Thank you, John, for your response. I worked out something today, not exactly as you suggested but a bit similar. Time will tell if it works out as I should know for sure by the middle of the week.

    Green screen lighting

Hi, best green screen lighting and method to extract butterfly subject in special position & place into other photo? First time poster here and I already did a search for this, but found nothing specific. As a hobby, I take photos of butterflies and other insects sometimes. This is very often...
