    Another question already? About masks

Okay I admit "lecture" was not the right word and I apologize for that. You see, when I use Photoshop, I gather and save all the resources I can find that I might need one day. Amost anything can be used in Photoshop, even if it has to have a file conversion or whatever.I would never have...

    Another question already? About masks

Excuse me, but those masks are jpgs to be used in any software that I have. They came from various websites and are kept in a "masks" folder on my computer. Thanks for the link, it was exactly what I needed.. It did refresh my memory and I plan to keep it saved and bookmarked because it was...

    Another question already? About masks

This is not about layer masks. I call them external masks, but anyway, I once had a good website that explained exactly to apply them and now I can't get that website up. Maybe you can help. I know I have to select all and paste the mask to my image but after that I'm stumped. (layer blend...

    brush setting

My problem is SOLVED!. IamSam, when you mentioned drivers and updates, I got busy and went to Wacom support and 2 very nice techs with accents talked me through uninstalling, downloading and reinstalling a new driver. Now it's working fine. The reason I was using that brush was the tutorial...

    brush setting

Wow, after having so many replies poured in, I did some researching and really came up with nothing. https://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/general-photoshop-board/50177-brush-styles-ps-cs6-ps-cc-versus-ps-cs.html?highlight=tapered+brush+settings That's about all I got. I am using a Wacom...

    brush setting

I often need a brush head with tapered ends in my projects. With CS3, it's usually no problem. But with CC 2015, I am having a hard time with it, even after looking it up at adobe.com. Can someone give me the settings for this? I have a screenshot but it's very poor quality. ~Thanks

    Illustrator not enough rams?

Well, then I guess the question is what determines the amount of RAM memory each application gets? Actually, when I get frustrated with Illustrator, I just take my work to Photoshop to finish it. That's what I did this time when the 3D tools were giving me that error message about memory. Thanks.

    Illustrator not enough rams?

I use Windows 7 and have always been confused about memory and space and bytes, etc. My total bytes available is great so why doesn't this have any thing to do with the RAM? Is there somewhere I can go to see how much RAM is available for Illustrator? I will make sure to close out anything...

    Illustrator not enough rams?

I am attaching an error box that says there is not enough ram available. I'm (trying to) do this tutorial, using the 3D tool. http://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/create-detailed-tulips-with-gradient-mesh-without-the-mesh-tool-in-illustrator--vector-9931 What can do about this? Thanks, pslane

    Illustrator move arrows

No that's the issue. Must be my old version of Illustrator. If I hit enter on an image, I get a nice little box that shows how to change the arrow key distance. (see sceenshot) but when I change he numbers to where I want them to be, click ok, get out, I get 1 click with the right...

    Illustrator move arrows

I just cranked up my old copy of Illustrator and started brushing up. When I click the arrow key to move, it moves too far. How can I adjust this? Thanks, pslane

    Strange problems

I see that tool, now. I was never aware of it before. I'll have to play with it and see what happens. Anyway, the layer went off mask as soon as I rasterized it. Thanks pslane
