Well, then I guess the question is what determines the amount of RAM memory each application gets? Actually, when I get frustrated with Illustrator, I just take my work to Photoshop to finish it. That's what I did this time when the 3D tools were giving me that error message about memory. Thanks.

I use Windows 7 and have always been confused about memory and space and bytes, etc. My total bytes available is great so why doesn't this have any thing to do with the RAM? Is there somewhere I can go to see how much RAM is available for Illustrator? I will make sure to close out anything...
