@ Steve When I first read your post I thought "Well that's an odd thing to quote and reply to...", but I've just re-read the entire thread and now it makes sense. Initially I only posted the first paragraph, which appeared right after your post w/the link, so it probably looked like I was...

    Painter-style color wheel

For those of you who like to draw/paint in PS. PaintersWheel It's free, but donations are accepted. Movement of the color pickers are a bit jumpy (you have to move the cursor slowly to get precise), but now we have a color wheel just like Corel Painter...and hey, it's free!

That's far from a deal, IMO. I have the same model (Intuos3 4x6) and paid that much brand new a couple years ago. The new Intuos4 version of that one (much improved) is 181.00 right now on Amazon. Everything appears to be overpriced in that lot. Outdated software for 50 (new version is 80)...

    Color matching help

Yep, lots of options here. You didn't specify, but you'll likely get the best results if the pics were shot using RAW. Even if they weren't, you can still open them all in the Bridge, choose open in camera raw, and batch process them with a custom white balance. Since they were all shot under...

Photoshop tutorial: Whiten Teeth and Brighten Smile

Here's a quick way to brighten a smile that looks natural. It can be tempting to just grab a paintbrush and start painting with white when you want to fix yellow teeth. Most times, though, it ends up looking terrible. Try this: Grab the sponge tool, set the mode to Desaturate, and the Flow...

What would one have to do get their photos like this?

It's true that equipment does not make the photographer. You can take junk photos with thousands of dollars worth of lenses, strobes, and camera bodies very easily. An eye for lighting and composition will win out over equipment almost every time. If you made your avatar, I'd say you're...

What would one have to do get their photos like this?

Hello, I've no clue what your photography experience is. If I'm wrong, then I apologize in advance, but I'm assuming it's limited. Those photos look nice, don't get me wrong, but compared to those captured by a decent slr, or even an advanced p & s, they are pretty much..."meh". Lots of...

Wacom is the leader, can't go wrong w/one. If you have a Best Buy or similar store near you, go and get some hands-on. They will prob. only have the Bamboo, which are very nice. A step up in quality (and price) is the Intuos4 line. Amazon has the small one (4x6) for 200, and the medium (6x8)...
