    hmm, androgenous sounds cool! do you mind if i just take this into PS to illustrate some pointers? it's pretty amazing for completely out of your head! it's tough at the best of times! referencing real heads is good sometimes, as you can reference several and then just modify as you see fit.

    i did have my suspicions as to whether it was a female character, the facial features were feminine, however the hair was short, and she was armour clad, so I just went with the most appropriate solution... sorry! XD did you reference anyone in particular for this?

    I like it! you certainly have a good eye for shade! the only thing I'd say is I think his head would need to be slightly lower, with his chin covered in part by his shoulder plate, HOWEVER, it looks great as it is, so don't tinker with it unless you're absolutely curious.

    If I may weigh in for a moment, I had a similar issue with CS5 and funnily enough it actually proved to be my tablet driver (at that point my tablet was also trust, but VERY old) since the tablet broke and I uninstalled the driver. There was no issue any more.

    I think it can be applied to most images, so long as it has some degree of shading and detail i don't see why it can't, you might need to adapt it here and there.

    Hey guys I found these three pieces on my old hard disk... I was just about starting to look at 3d at this point, I screwed myself over with this one as the module after this would've fit perfectly with these images XD having said that, the module later got me into 3D, sooo. :P anyway...
