Video tutorial- Adjust the brush hardness in seconds & more!

You're welcome, amigo ! Seems I missed the first one you posted, but when I saw it after this one you asked for opinions to improve and I find it a benefit to mention what versions of PhS the demonstrated techniques are for and also - if possible - not forget the Mac users... And if you...

I really worked hard on this one

Yupp, the cropped version of it works better. Concentrates the image to the important content of it and not a lot of dead space. My first reaction to the white "fringe" around the flamingo's neck and shouders ( do birds have shoulders ..? ) was it's the result of a not to well done cutout ...

Video tutorial- Adjust the brush hardness in seconds & more!

Thank you very much, amigo ! Can't have too many of these ... :) Hope to see more of your tutorials turning up here. Maybe we should add that the Alt + Right-Click-And-Drag up and down to change the Brush Hardness only works in PhS CS5 ( that's a Ctrl + Click-And-Drag for you Mac users). The...

    After Effects Preview

    > ...takes quite a while to become as proffessional as you are. Ahmm... slight correction there - Semi Professional. I'm not making my living completely out of graphics. I still do a "real" part-time-plus job that's so far from graphics as you can possible get... /LOL/ > ...so I suppose...

    After Effects Preview

Oh man ... like - I went 56 in May and I've always been into graphics as far as I can remember.... actually, planned my first Stop Motion animation when I was like 10 ... invovling toy cars racing around the furniture in our living room .. but that went down since my parents didn't undertand a...

    After Effects Preview

Thanks Burned Ice and SeniorS ! Take it you mean what went into doing this ? Ok - brief breakdown: Background plate done in PhS from a texture that was everything else than stone and hung some Ivy plants on it from a couple of Targa-files (with Alpha). In AECS5.5 - a couple of tons of...

    After Effects Preview

Things have been a bit slow for me with attending the forum and everything for a while. Partly due to Real World things happening and partly due to working with stuff ... Also, I've upgraded my After Effects CS3 to CS5.5 to take full advantage of the 64-bit architecture and more recent...

    Question about copyright

Don't think the copyright was given to the newspaper. Some kind of license - like "publishing rights" on one ocation - yes. Yeah, I know it's a difficult situation and it all also depends of what kind of publishing you intend to do. If the work is to be considered as personal or if it's for for...

    H R Giger

Oh man ... Hans Rudi Giger is a large subject. Delve into him and his work and you won't probably ever be the same again ... :) Actually, there's a "roumor" going that he was held up in customs when trying to enter the country he was having an exhibition in, since the customs officers thought...

    Question about copyright

Tricky one there, Vafann, and to make it even more trickier there's a difference between Swedish copyright laws and ditto in other countries. I would think it's the copyright laws that exists in the country where you as the artist live in that applies to you. You just have to try to find as...

    Robogirl

Ouch ! Lots of sharp edges on that lady ... :) I like it that there's lots of "leads" in the composition that guides the viewer to the important focus - the eye. There's a spiral and lot's of other things (the thorns) pointing at it. Had a problem at first with if it's the human skin that's on...

    Question on Changing a Color

Quick Selection tool will do about the same job as the Wand tool but with a better Anti Alias (edge smoothing) ... To subtract from selection, press-and-hold the Alt/Opt key down when using the Lasso tool or any other suitable selection tool. To add to selection, press-and-hold the Shift key.

    How to make a flyer?

I'd go with no 3. The clipping path text is easier to read. ... and even I understand "Gratis inkom"... :)
