That's the first place I tried but could only find one reference to animated gifs and it was pretty sparse.

    Animated gif

Thanks a lot MindBender that fixed my problem although I'm not sure that I knew just what I was doing. I've looked a lot of tutorials on this and never found one that even mentioned the adjustments that you've told me about. You don't happen to know of one do you that goes into this stuff more...

    Animated gif

I would appreciate any suggestions that would help me figure out what is wrong with an animated gif I modified. I downloaded a gif and opened it in Image Ready and proceeded to modify the nine frames it had to show a different face than the one it had. After every frame mod I ran it in...

    animated gif

I'm trying to open an animated gif into Image Ready from PS but can't seem to get past square one. I've done this before but quite awhile ago and my memory is not helping me. When I open the gif file in Image Ready it only shows one frame instead of a stack of frames. How do I expand it to...

    Spot Healing tool

I've been trying to do what I saw done in one of the tutorials on the CD that came with CS2. In the tutorial the instructor makes an artist who is painting in a field of flowers with a blue sky disappear from a picture by using the Spot Healing tool. The artist is half in the field and half in...

    moving object

Thanks Ronmatt, that looks great just what I had in mind but instead of a straight line of flight I would like to have it more like a arc or a lob.

    moving object

I'm not sure how to accomplish this but I am trying to make a ball look like it is in motion as it is thrown across a room. I know I can blur the ball but I was thinking more of trying to show a series of the ball in flight. Does anyone have any suggestions how best to do this. Thanks fellows

    linking layers

Thanks ljiljana for your suggestion. Thanks Welles, I guess I should have thought of that but I was expecting something more complicated. I appreciate both of your prompt responses.

    linking layers

Not sure how to explain this but here goes. I create a photo consisting of several layers and then I want to move the whole thing over to another photo. There has to be a way to link the layers so that I don't have to move them over one by one and then have to try to reposition them again. I...

    undulating line

It worked great Ronmatt got just the results I wanted. The roughness disappeared once it was no longer active Welles. Thanks to both of you. I have another question related to my project but I'd better start another topic with it.

    undulating line

I have been trying to use the Custom Shape Tool for the first time and I'm running into a few problems. I chose the Wave shape and figured out how to draw it the way I want it but I'd like to change the opacity of the colour I chose but don't see a place to do that. The other thing I noticed is...

    Removing dust etc.

You know the odd thing about the picture was the weird res. and size after I had downloaded it from the Power Point presentation. It was something like 2.5 x 1.5 at 2000 resolution, any thoughts on that Sark.

    Removing dust etc.

Yes Sark, you are right it is just the same. It didn't hurt though to get it drummed into me again though, my original problem kind of got left in the dust (no pun intended). That was the waffle pattern showing up after printing. I managed to solve that myself though I found it was caused by...

    Small photo, large res. ?

Thanks Patrick you were pretty close it was 4.5 x 2.25. I don't understand how it determines the size automatically like that but it did the trick. I appreciate your help.
