    Yes thanks for the figure showing your path. I only used dodge and burn for my shadow work. Looks like I should try sampling color too and practice some brush work. I like to edit, but wish I had some real artistic/drawing talent. In these type of request it would come in handy.

    I have never attempted this type of edit, so I wanted to give it a shot. Usually when I attempt something like this I tend to over edit and it stops looking natural.

    See if this is what you had in mind. I did remove some of the shadow on the right but maintained the same background that was there. Edit: I noticed a few glitches when I looks back. Ghost image under right arm should not be there. I also cleaned up the background in lower left and right...

    Removed the TV from the back wall and adjusted brightness, contrast, and did some noise reduction. I hope you like the results.

    I decided to replace the background instead of trying to edit the existing wall. Tried to reduce noise on subject and sharpen a little. Also blurred background a little to help blend the two images. Hope you like the results.
