    Photoshop daughter jumping on ATV...please!!

Regards the jetty jumpers, I just checked and it was taken at f2.8 @ 1/6400 and ISO200. The low ISO would have been to let me use f2.8 without running out of headroom with the maximum 1/8000 shutter speed of the camera. While I almost never work without a flash, even when carrying two cameras...

[Request] May you please remove the movement and make it a little bit more clear?

andres, I'm sorry about your gran. You are never going to get a decent result from this because it is just too bad. The Shake reduction gizmo inn CC did make a difference, but the background is sharper than gran and the lads, so it was back focused. I have no idea what is happening near the...

    Photoshop daughter jumping on ATV...please!!

It does look a bit too good to be true - maybe because the IQ of quad bike is so much better than the background, but it might just be down to a shallow depth of field. Sometimes things do look too goo to be true. This was taken at altitude in crystal clear mountain air, and the lads are so...

    Photoshop daughter jumping on ATV...please!!

The last one was a bit of rush job. :-( This one is better.

Bugger. I put the clipping line in the wrong place for the right front wheel and the young lady's leg. I'll fix it later.

My picture looks fine in Photoshop, but when I post it onthe Web the colors are off.

Re: My picture looks fine in Photoshop, but when I post it onthe Web the colors are o It's still important to use the most enduring colour space, and certainly important to be aware of which one you are working in, and exporting your images. I very rarely enter camera club competitions...

    Sin

I like the jellyfish a lot. Did you build it completely from scratch? If I was being picky, I'd like to have seen the highlight on the top right of the jellyfish softer. It always seems to me that no matter how soft your brush, or feathered your layer, shading always looks better if you...

    Adobe Photoshop Keyboard Shortcut Downloads

This video by Michael Ninnis was taken at this year's Adobe Max, and IMO one of the best and most useful Photoshop tutorials I have ever seen. No matter how well you know Photoshop, I bet you'll learn some really cool tricks and tips from this. BTW I think he was on drugs when he took the...

    Colours of Marlborough

I'm putting this up as much to test the board - which has been clunky, to say the least for me. Our camera club is hosting the PSNZ (Photographic Society of New Zealand) National Convention, and this is the promo for it. Most of the pictures and all the video is mine, and I did all the...

    PSG causing problems!

It's no different for me. I have to use Chrome to have any chance at all. I lost two posts this morning after typing a couple of paragraphs. I copied the text to the clipboard before the second time, but the browser crashed, recovered the page, and wiped the clipboard! That was not funny...

Flickr can somebody explain this to me ??

I have loved using flickr for years now - least ways I did until they revamped it to look like all the other photo sharing sites. It is now slow and difficult to navigate, and the traffic in the groups has dropped to mere trickle. Whereas it used to be that I couldn't wait to upload new...

    Marlborough A&P Show Banner

A&P stands for Agriculture & Pasture, and the show is pretty much like the farm shows you see in other countries. There’s a big ring with various horse riding events, sheep dogs, old and new farm machinery, and marquees (not the selection type) full of prize winning vegetables, cakes, and a...

how to change yellow color to orange in an image?

OK. That's nice, but I am now going to burst your bubble, because when I look at the example above, the change in hue is directly related to the hue beneath it. The new colour is changing according to the original, so instead of a band of orange, the post edit colour go from yellow to red and...

how to change yellow color to orange in an image?

This shows the before and after - the black in the layer mask showing the original yellow. Note that where the yellow moves into green it has not been affected, but dragging the slider(s) above the red arrow to the right would fix that. I'm sure you get the point :-)

how to change yellow color to orange in an image?

A lot of people like to use the Replace Color tool, but I prefer to use a Hue/Saturation layer because it is so flexible, and can be a powerful skill to have under your belt for all sorts of situations. Fixing Chromatic Aberrations for instance. Just open the Hue/saturation layer above the...
