    Newspaper Font & Effect??

Duplicating a layer is easy. Select the layer you want to duplicate and press CTRL + J. The reason I did this was to make the font slightly bolder. When you work with lines and/or text this is the result when duplicating layers. Just try it! :-) M:)rten Ps: When I wrote "duplicate the text"...

    Newspaper Font & Effect??

Hi 8)) It's very very very hard to answer this question. There are soooo many fonts out there. To find a similar font can sometimes be nearly impossible. I did try, however, to find a font using whats available in CS2. I came somewhat close. I'm a perfectionist and I'm not satisfied [shhh]...

    Paint Bucket Tool

Hi, and welcome :-) It's probably "hidden" behind the gradient-tool. Hit G and see what icon that chooses. (The gradient-tool, it looks almost like a b/w "colorbar") Now, Click on that Icon and hold the mouse down for a little while. Did the paintbucket pop up? Good :) Good luck M:rten

Techniques to fix and image when light source is behind the subjects

There are several ways of doing this in Photoshop. You can, for instance, use Levels (ctrl+L) to lighten up the picture and you can mask out the underexposed area and lighten that up or you can use the dodge-tool with a light exposure-value. However; your example picture can't be saved since...

Discrepancies between workspace colors, and saved files...pls help

Hi and welcome to the board. I've never seen this problem before and I quite frankly can't think of any cause right now, but have you tried to delete the preference-file? Sometimes that kills odd problems. C:\Documents and Settings\[YOURUSERNAME]\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe...

    Does CS3 Include Image Ready?

A quick look inside CS3 tells me that your wish can be solved through file-->scripts-->layers to files function. Maybe not the optimal solution, but it works. Then you'll import it into Flash M:)rten

Possible to resize multiple images at once?

Hi again I'm sorry to have let you believe that Bridge was a part of CS. (I thought it was) My solution here does NOT fully satisfy your request, since it doesn't process all 2000 images at once. Doing this on 2000 pics might be a tad tedious :bustagut: Anyway, just to show you the basics of...

    Photoshop cs3 crashing

Sometimes it's just as simple as reinstalling the program. You could also delete the preference-file. On a XP-system that could be in Documents and Settings\[yourusername]\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3 M:)rten

Possible to resize multiple images at once?

What do you mean by that? These solutions here aren't complicated in my opinion :) M:)rten

Possible to resize multiple images at once?

Another way of doing this is to use the Bridge. While in Bridge, mark all the pictures you want to process and choose Tools-->Photoshop-->Image processors. You will then get a dialogbox to guide you through it. (You need CS and above) M:)rten

Playing around with my dog (she doesn't bite)

Hi I found a picture of my dog I wanted to do something with. There's a lot of information available in the picture. I've posted the original image for you to play with at this location http://www.mortenflaten.com/photoshop/challenges/Nemi_challenge.zip (0,8mb) What I've done, basically...

The fun and joy of Blend Modes

Hi When I open photoshop just to fool around, experimenting with blend-modes is one the things I enjoy the most. The possibilities are endless. A while back I posted the results of some experiments (http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/index.php?topic=7645.msg84302#msg84302) but the link...

    Blending Photos

Hi Sage 8)) Yes, she's my precious and her name is Nemi. She is probably the most beautiful Rottweiler around. (Now that is of course an objective opinion ;-) M:)rten

    Downsizing Image Deterioration

I'm not sure, actually, but I'm pretty sure Premiere imports the pictures non-destructively also. Although Afx and Premiere are getting closer in some functionalities I would not use Premiere for the stuff Patrick describes. If you want to animate still images I think Afx would be a far better...

    The Eight Hour Train Ride

If you travel from Oslo to Stavanger in Norway it will take you eight hours on the train. Eight megaboring hours. To overcome this I was fooling around on my laptop. Since there was no room, whatsoever, to my mouse I was stuck with the dreadful touchpad. This is very limiting in what I'm...
